English language proficiency requirements include an IELTS overall band of 6.5 (no individual band below 6.0), or equivalent, achieved within the last 24 months. Alternatively, applicants can demonstrate satisfactory completion of Swinburne’s EAP 5 Advanced level with 70% overall and 65% in all skills, or 24 months of full-time study in English at AQF level 7 or above within the past 60 months. Successful applicants are automatically considered for the Bachelor of Research (Honours) program without separate application.
