Applicants must possess an Ontario College Advanced Diploma, Degree, or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related fields such as energy, sustainability, or environmental sciences. Alternatively, candidates with a non-related diploma and at least two years of relevant work experience in mechanical or electrical engineering are eligible. International applicants must submit proof of subject-specific qualifications and demonstrate English language proficiency through IELTS (minimum overall band of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each band), TOEFL (minimum 88 overall with 22 in each component), or Duolingo (minimum 120 overall, with at least 120 in Literacy and no score below 105).
