Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, with a minimum of 21 credit points (CP) in Mathematics and/or Computer Science. Proven proficiency in a high-level programming language is required, demonstrated via certification or thesis. Additionally, applicants need at least 12 CP in one of the following areas: Computational Astro and Space Physics (Theoretical Physics, Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetism), Computational Biology (Biology), Earth System Sciences (Geosciences, Meteorology, Physics), Theoretical Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry, Quantum Chemistry), or Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics (Quantum and Statistical Physics). English language proficiency at B2 level is mandatory.
