Applicants must hold a Level 8 primary degree in Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification with a minimum 2.1 classification. A minimum of 850 hours of relevant practice experience is required. Applications must include a detailed account of work experience, including hours or weeks worked, and two references—one academic and one practice-based. A personal statement of 500 to 1000 words is mandatory. Garda Vetting is also required as part of the admission process. The course has up to 25 places available annually.
