Applicants must meet general entry criteria, including: NCEA with at least 14 credits at Level 2 or higher (including AS91261 and AS91262), or NCEA Level 3 in Mathematics, Statistics, or Calculus combined with 14 Level 2 credits in Physics. Alternatively, CIE A D grades or better in Mathematics and Physics at AS level, or IB passes (Level 4) in both subjects. New Zealand students under 20 must qualify for University Entrance by completing a minimum of 120 Level 3 points or 60 Level 4 points if they have completed Year 13. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be granted for relevant studies at Level 5 or above. English language proficiency requires an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 overall, with all bands at 5.5 or higher, or equivalent qualifications.
