    Applicants must hold a minimum of a 2:1 (upper second class) honours degree in an ophthalmic or biomedical discipline from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from an overseas institution. Consideration is given to other relevant qualifications, such as Fellowship of the British Dispensing Opticians, evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical practice experience prior to enrollment. Non-native English speakers are required to provide evidence of English language proficiency unless their undergraduate degree was completed in an English-speaking country.
