Admissions are based on tariff points ranging from 104 to 128. A-level requirements include a grade B in Music or equivalent qualifications such as merit in ABRSM/Trinity/LCM/Rockschool Grade 5 Theory or Grade 7 Practical, or an IB Higher Level in Music. Relevant modern language qualifications are preferred. Alternative qualifications such as BTEC National Extended Diploma (DMM-DDM), Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma (DMM-DDC), City & Guilds Advanced Technical Extended Diploma (considered case-by-case), and IB Diploma with H5 in Music and a relevant language are accepted. Welsh Baccalaureate and T Levels may also be considered when combined with other Level 3 qualifications.
