Applicants must present a strong portfolio and typically meet one of the following criteria: Art and Design Foundation or 112 UCAS points from at least two A-levels, including a grade C in Art and Design; BTEC Extended Diploma DMM in an Art and Design-related subject; International Baccalaureate with 26+ points including Art and Design; or equivalent qualifications. Additionally, applicants should have five GCSEs grades 9-4, including English Language or Literature at grade 4 or above. Alternative pathways include Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit in Art and Design plus GCSE English at grade 4 or above, or BTEC First Diploma with two GCSEs including English. It is recommended that applicants have taken a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course. International applicants must submit qualification certificates, English language proficiency proof, a personal statement (minimum 500 words), passport copy, and one reference.
