Additionally, applicants should have five GCSEs grades 9-4, including English Language or Literature at grade 4 or above. Alternative pathways include Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit in Art and Design plus GCSE English at grade 4 or above, or BTEC First Diploma with two GCSEs including English. It is recommended that applicants have taken a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course.
