For those without A-level Spanish, a GCSE grade B in Spanish or demonstrated linguistic ability in another language is required. Additional qualifications like BTEC/OCR or AQA Extended Certificates with Distinction* or Distinction are accepted. Irish Leaving Certificate applicants need H3/H2 grades, including a Higher Level grade H3 in Spanish. International Baccalaureate candidates require 33 points overall, with 6 in Spanish and 5,5 at Higher Level. A minimum 2:2 Honours Degree is also acceptable if relevant subject requirements are met.
