Applicants should possess a bachelor's honours degree or equivalent, typically a 2:1 or higher. For the European Stream, candidates must demonstrate mother tongue proficiency in English and advanced competence in two foreign languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, or Russian). For the Russian pathway, proficiency in English or Russian at native level and advanced skills in the other language are required. All applicants must complete aptitude tests in translation and interpreting to assess suitability. Exceptions may be made for lower grades if accompanied by evidence of aptitude. If the degree was completed within the last two years in an English-speaking country, English language requirements may be waived.
