    Applicants must meet the following academic criteria: A Levels with a minimum of ABB, including Mathematics and either Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics, plus a B in an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Alternatively, 34 points in the International Baccalaureate with Higher Level Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics at grades 6 and 5 respectively. BTEC applicants require DD in Engineering or Applied Science with A Level Mathematics at grade A. Scottish Highers require AAABB, including Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry. Welsh Baccalaureate applicants need two A Levels with B, including Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry. Access to HE Diploma candidates must have 60 credits overall, with 45 at Level 3 (36 at Distinction, including Mathematics and Physics) and 9 at Merit, along with a Mathematics test if applicable.
