Applicants must apply directly to the University and be employed in registered childcare or educational services, or work with children and families in non-statutory settings, with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience. For Year 1 entry, candidates should possess 120 SCQF level 7 credits in relevant subjects such as HNC Childhood Practice, HNC Child Care and Education, HNC Early Education and Childcare, SNNEB, or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Scottish Social Services Council. A matching learning portfolio demonstrating competencies aligned with the Standard for Childhood Practice is also required.
