Alternative qualifications include a Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma with a minimum of 112 UCAS Tariff points, including English and Mathematics at specified levels. Scottish Highers require BBBCC (with BB in Mathematics and a science subject), and Scottish Advanced Highers require CCC (including Mathematics and a science). The International Baccalaureate requires a minimum of 25 points, with 12 at Higher Level, including a grade 5 in Mathematics or a science subject, and a minimum grade 4 in English Language.
