Applicants must complete the Alcorn State University Graduate School application, submit official transcripts from accredited nursing programs, hold an unencumbered nursing license, and provide three recommendation letters (professional, academic, and personal) on official letterhead. Transfer students require a letter of good academic standing from their previous program, subject to approval by the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs. An interview with faculty is mandatory. Additional requirements include a $10 application fee for out-of-state applicants and, if applicable, approval of transfer courses.
