A personal statement or M.S. essay on a specified topic must be submitted with the application or via the Graduate Studies Documents for Submission form. GRE scores are waived for applicants with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or a 3.0 GPA in the last 60 credit hours. Two academic letters of reference from former instructors must be sent directly to the Department of Education. Departmental approval from a thesis advisor is required; applicants should contact the Department of Education for guidance. A current CV or résumé must be submitted directly to the Department of Education.
