    Applicants must commit to a two-year cohort-based curriculum for the M.S.W. or a three-year plan. A minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 90 quarter units or 60 semester units is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong liberal arts foundation aligned with CSU or UC graduation standards, show cultural competence and language skills relevant to diverse communities, and possess at least one year of paid or volunteer experience in human services or related fields. Additional requirements include submitting a personal statement, three professional or academic references, participating in an interview, and providing a relevant writing sample. Work experience in human services is also mandatory.
