    Applicants must complete a comprehensive pattern of college preparatory courses with a minimum grade of C prior to high school graduation. A high school diploma or equivalent must be obtained by the end of the spring term before fall enrollment. Submission of all transcripts from previous institutions is required. California residents need a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a CSULB Index of at least 3,200 for non-STEM majors or 3,600 for STEM majors. Non-California residents require a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a CSULB Index of at least 3,500 for non-STEM majors or 3,600 for STEM majors. A portfolio demonstrating artistic ability is also required for admission consideration.
