Applicants must submit a complete application via Common App, Coalition App, or QuestBridge, with no preference among these platforms. The transcript should include all courses and grades from the first three years of high school, along with the senior year schedule and grades from the first term of senior year if available. A high school counselor recommendation (School Report) and two academic teacher recommendations are required. While optional, submitting SAT or ACT scores can enhance the application; these scores can be self-reported as Carleton has adopted a test-optional policy for Fall 2022 admissions. TOEFL, IELTS, or DuoLingo English Test scores are required for non-native English speakers. SAT Subject Tests are optional. There is no application fee.
