    Applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including all coursework. A GPA of 3.0 or higher in upper-division nursing coursework is required. Candidates must hold a Florida RN license or obtain one prior to admission if out-of-state. A BSN from an NLNAC or CCNE-accredited program is mandatory, with consideration given to applicants from non-accredited programs on an individual basis. Additional requirements include completion of the FIU Graduate Nursing application, NursingCAS application, a personal essay, three professional references, a curriculum vitae, and a successful personal interview with the admissions committee.
