Submission of two recommendation letters, a research-based writing sample, and a personal statement detailing research experience is required. A minimum GPA of 3.00 on the last 60 credit hours is necessary; applicants with a GPA between 2.50 and 2.99 must achieve a B or higher in the first 6 hours of graduate coursework. Deficiencies in undergraduate preparation may be remedied post-admission with departmental approval. All requirements are subject to departmental review and approval.
