A Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields such as ASL, Deaf Studies, Linguistics, or Bilingual Education is required. Candidates without a relevant degree may be considered if they demonstrate equivalent coursework or extensive language instruction experience (minimum 1,350 hours over approximately five years). A valid Master Certification from ASLTA is also acceptable. All official transcripts must be submitted, and applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Additionally, three professional references are required to support the application.
