    Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and possess or be eligible for a Georgia Level 4 or higher teaching certificate in Elementary Education, Middle Grades Reading, or an equivalent out-of-state certification in an eligible concentration. Out-of-state certificate holders will not receive Georgia certification upon program completion. Candidates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 on all undergraduate and graduate coursework. Additionally, applicants must submit a personal statement (up to 200 words) outlining their motivation for pursuing graduate study and its relevance to their professional goals, along with a completed Disclosure and Affirmation Form addressing misconduct, adherence to the Educator’s Code of Ethics, and tort liability insurance.
