Additional Requirements

    Applicants must meet all admission criteria for the Teacher Education program, including completion of the Celebrating Diversity Workshop, a minimum GPA of 2.50 overall (with at least a C+ in student teaching), and a 2.75 GPA in each licensure area. Additional requirements include conduct approval from the Student Experience Office, completion of a bachelor's degree through Manchester University’s licensure program, submission of SAT or ACT scores, passing the Indiana Developmental/Pedagogy exam and Content Area Assessments, and demonstration of professional dispositions with proficient ratings. Current CPR/Heimlich certification (valid within one year) and evidence of suicide prevention training are also required.
