    Applicants must successfully complete Level 5 of Southeast Missouri State University's Intensive English Program (IEP). Accepted proof of English proficiency includes standardized tests such as the SAT (minimum 450 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing), ACT (minimum 21 in English/Writing), or equivalent. Additional requirements include a U.S. high school diploma, an international school diploma with U.S. regional accreditation, or an IB diploma with English instruction. Proof of English proficiency may also be demonstrated through completion of Level 112 at the ELS Language School or other recognized assessments on a case-by-case basis.
