    Applicants must hold a Baccalaureate degree (BS or BA) from an AACSB-accredited institution with a major or at least 24 credits in History coursework with a minimum grade of C. A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.80 or higher is required. A well-articulated Statement of Purpose detailing career objectives in History Education is mandatory. Three professional and academic recommendations are required; personal references are not accepted. Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions must be submitted. Candidates must not hold a current teaching license, except for temporary or provisional licenses. The GRE is not required for admission.
