    Admission to the M.S. in Mathematics (Secondary Education concentration) requires applicants to have completed at least 18 credit hours of college-level mathematics courses, including Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics. Equivalent coursework in related fields may be considered. For the Applied Mathematics concentration, applicants must have completed a minimum of 18 credit hours above Multivariable Calculus, preferably including two of the following: Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, or Mathematical Modeling. Familiarity with at least one mathematical or statistical software package such as R, Maple, Minitab, Matlab, Mathematica, SPSS, or SAS is expected.
