Curriculum: The full-time MS-PhD in Nursing Accelerated curriculum prepares you to conduct research with a patient-first approach, both as an independent researcher and as a key member of an interdisciplinary team. MS and PhD courses are taken in a very rigorous three years of full-time enrollment after which the master’s degree is awarded. You will then continue to complete the PhD dissertation proposal and dissertation research. Throughout the program, you will work closely with faculty who are active in research and experts in their field. The first three years of MS and PhD coursework are very intensive, with five days per week of classes, clinical hours, Research Assistantship work, and study time required to meet the program goals.
Applicants must hold a master's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Candidates should possess clinical licensure in a health profession such as nursing or social work, and demonstrate proficiency in English. Additional requirements include relevant clinical experience and a strong research interest aligned with program goals.
