Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or a major GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Prerequisite coursework must include anatomy and physiology of speech and hearing, introduction to audiology, normal language development, phonetics, speech and hearing science, statistics, behavioral or social sciences, biological sciences, and physical sciences (physics or chemistry). All courses require a grade of 'C' or higher prior to admission. Additional application components include transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement demonstrating motivation and suitability for the program.
