Submission of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts is mandatory. Candidates must provide a personal essay outlining their beliefs about student learning, commitment to diversity, enthusiasm for education, collaboration willingness, and ethical standards. Three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a faculty member, are required. Prior experience working with youth and a current resume or CV are necessary. GRE scores are optional. An interview is encouraged. Applicants without existing NYS Social Studies certification are eligible to apply, regardless of certification status.
