Applicants must submit a formal graduate application with a $60 non-refundable fee, including at least two letters of recommendation specific to the program, official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions, a portfolio of 20 images demonstrating technical and conceptual competence, a 500-word artist’s statement, a 500-word statement of intent outlining educational and professional goals, and a resume no longer than two pages. Admission requires an undergraduate degree in studio art from an accredited institution with at least 48 credit hours in studio courses and 12 in art history. A BFA in Studio Art is recommended, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
