Applicants must be current University of Washington students who have completed DESIGN 166 or transfer students who have applied for UW admission for Autumn quarter. Current students are required to take DESIGN 166 in their first year (offered in Winter). Students with a GPA of 3.7 or higher are automatically eligible for admission; those below 3.7 must apply through the standard process by the deadline. Transfer and post-baccalaureate applicants must submit their application to the design program by the specified deadline. Note that transfer students are ineligible to enroll in DESIGN 166 at UW Seattle, as it is only available at UW Bothell and UW Tacoma.
