    Applicants must submit official GRE scores with minimum Verbal and Quantitative scores of 151 each, and an Analytical Writing score of at least 3.5, or an equivalent GRE percentile. Alternatively, a valid MAT scaled score of 415 or higher is accepted. Additional requirements include a statement of intent, a writing sample (preferably an undergraduate research paper), two letters of recommendation, and a minimum of 15 upper-division history semester hours. The GRE requirement is waived for applications submitted through Spring 2023.
