Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution, demonstrate academic ability at the graduate level, or possess relevant health-related or theological graduate experience. Submission of a current resume, ACPE application materials, all previous CPE evaluations, and two clinical case studies is required. An interview with the admissions committee will be conducted. For the Chaplain Certification concentration, candidates need a graduate degree or at least two years of graduate coursework in relevant fields, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and GRE scores if GPA requirements are unmet. International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency with a TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper-based) or 100 (Internet-based).
