Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in speech-language pathology or a related field such as communication sciences, audiology, or hearing sciences, or possess an undergraduate degree supplemented with prerequisite coursework. A minimum GPA of 3.0 and grades of B- or higher in all prerequisite courses are recommended. Required application materials include three letters of recommendation from academic instructors familiar with your work, a personal statement expressing your interest in speech-language pathology, and successful completion of coursework in biology (preferably human biology), physical sciences (physics or chemistry), social sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology, or public health), statistics, and foundational courses in communication disorders, anatomy and physiology of speech and hearing, speech development, speech and hearing science, and audiology.
