    Applicants must submit a complete admissions application, official transcripts, and a professional resume. For the FNP program, GRE or MAT scores are required unless waived under specific conditions. A baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.7 is necessary, along with undergraduate coursework in statistics, research, and health assessment with a grade of 'C' or higher. Clinical nursing experience of at least one year as a registered nurse is required, with a waiver available for applicants with a GPA of 3.4 and a combined GRE score of 1000 (Verbal 153, Quantitative 144). Three letters of reference, an active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact State, and a 350-500 word admission essay outlining career goals and understanding of advanced nursing roles are also required.
